Just going slowly insane

So the week begins again and I feel like screaming. Don't get me wrong I love being a stay at home mum but some days I just feel I would like to go to work or college just so I can have a adult conversation, to have a few hours without S demanding all my attention and to be me and not just a wife and mother.

I had have lots of conversations with fellow mummies its not just me who feels like this we all do from time to time. I also know a few mummies who would hate to be a SAHM.  It is hard work and I do feel like I am going crazy sometimes especially when my husband is away and I really dont have any adult conversation at all.

That being said a SAHM can be really rewarding as well, I get to see all of her milestones which I would miss if I wasn't at home.

  1. I felt the same today, my little one just kept whinging all day which Is so tiring and makes you want to escape and to be left alone. I was so relieved when he finally went for a nap.
I've only got two weeks until I go back to work so I will escape but l still won't get freedom as I'll be stuck at a desk all day wishing I was at home with that whinging little boy.

It is hard when you don't have other adult company sometimes. Hope you get some you time.

  2. I know that feeling as well Lisa. I now have a weekend job, which I am loving. It's good to have a break from the kids, but I also enjoy (mostly) being at home with them during the week. xx

  3. I know exactly how you feel! I went back to work part time when my son was 2 for the sake of my own sanity! I eventually went full time but to be honest I did find it really stressful juggling work and motherhood as I became a single mum as well. I think as mums we ALWAYS make ourselves feel guilty whichever choice we make. It comes with the territory haha. xx
