10 Things to do before I'm 31

Tonight I realise that I need a good kick to get by motivation back. There are so many things I want to do but I procrastinate too much. So here are a list of things I'd like to do before I turn 31 on December 15th 2012.

1. Grow my Blog
2. Learn how to use all the functions on my camera and not use the auto setting
3. Learn to Program (I have started this with some Java and CSS) and get some qualifications in I.T
4. Lose 1 stone in weight
5. Write a book or start a magazine (This ones a bit ambitious) I'd settle for improving my writing skills
6. Make a start on the craft tutorials on my Pinterest board, my sewing machine is huffing because it hasn't been used recently.
7. Go on a road trip (this one is happening in August its for Charity, If you'd like to sponsor us heres the just giving page - Just Giving)
8. Learn to do some up-styles with my hair
9. Learn to sing
10. Get little things around the house finished, like the tiling in the kitchen thats only taken 4 years so far to get around to.

Introduction and recent photo....

My name is Lisa, I am a 30 year old stay at home mum to my mini me S and wife to my other half. I live in Belfast Northern Ireland. 

I love baking, coffee, crafting, reading, writing is now a bit of a passion which surprises me as I hated english at school. I started this blog just so I could write things down I feel great after writing. 

Currently I am looking to re-train in IT so I can go back to work when the little person goes to primary school in 2014.

A little about me...

I know theres that bit to the left that tells you a tiny bit about me but thought I write a post to tell you a little more.

My name is Lisa I am 30 hence the name of the blog :-) I live in Belfast with my husband and my gorgeous 2 year old daughter. I am a SAHM which 99.9% of the time I love.

I am a bit of a geek and would love to go to Comic Con (My husband being a geek himself thinks that this makes me sad!!!)

I love to make things, I have several hundred tutorials in my pinterest account I have still to work my way through.

 I love to bake mainly sweet things and bread ( theres something very therapeutic about kneading bread by hand)

I love reading, since getting my kindle for my 30th my husband thinks I should get rid of my 'real' books, I can't I still love going to our local bookshops I could spend all day there if I could.

I have recently discovered a love for writing which is why I started this blog. I didn't actually think anyone would read it but you do and seem to like it. I have had some lovely comments from a few of you in the last week this really makes me smile. I hope to find more time to write now that our sick household is starting to feel better.
